THE DURANGO LODGE DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS OR DEPOSITS.
Taxes and fees are subject to change, are not displayed in the room rate, and will be applied to the total booking amount at checkout. Credit or Debit cards used for reservation booking payment must belong to at least one of the guests staying in the party. We do not accept 3rd party payment without a signed credit card authorization form and a copy of the payer’s identification. All outstanding balances and tabs are settled upon checkout.
The Durango Lodge is a fully non-smoking property (rooms + common spaces). Drug use is strictly prohibited. An additional $150 cleaning fee to be charged to guests caught smoking on property. Marijuana is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
Minors and Children:
Individuals under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while on the premises.

Reservations must be cancelled or amended via email a full 72-hours in advance of check-in (3PM on the day of arrival) to avoid penalty. Full refunds will be given for any reservations cancelled outside of the 72-hour cancellation window. Reservations cancelled within the cancellation window will be charged one night’s stay plus any applicable fees and taxes, regardless of circumstances. No adjustments to the number of rooms or nights booked may be made inside the cancellation window without written approval.
Refunds will not be issued for changes of plans, cancellation of flights, road closures, sicknesses, exposures to COVID-19 or anything that could stand in the way of your travel to the Durango Lodge. We highly encourage utilizing travel insurance to ensure an additional layer of protection against financial loss due to unforeseen events before and during your trip.
This cancellation policy does not apply to non-refundable promotions or rate packages subject to their policies.
Advance notice by guests traveling with dogs is preferred. Guests are encouraged to email email@example.com prior to arrival to inform the front desk that they will be traveling with pets. All dogs must be registered with the front desk upon arrival. There is a $50 dog fee per stay (2 dogs maximum). Guests keeping unregistered pets will be charged a $150.00 cleaning fee and may be asked to leave the premises, thereby forfeiting any and all prepaid costs. Due to allergies, cats are not allowed on property.
We want to ensure a great experience for all of our guests, including our furry ones! Dogs are not permitted to be left unattended in our rooms; please arrange for a pet sitter or have plans to keep your dog with you. If pets are found left unattended in a room, or a complaint from other guests that there is a barking dog, a minimum of a $100 fee will be added to the reservation.
Due to allergies, cats are not allowed on property.
While Emotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, they are not considered service animals under the ADA and will be subject to our pet fee.

- Check-Out: 11AM
- Check-In: 3PM
- Breakfast Hours: 6:30AM – 10AM
- Pool & Hot Tub Hours: 10AM – 10PM
- Quiet Hours: 10PM – 7AM
Late Check-out and Luggage Storage:
- Late Check-out: If requested and we are able to accommodate, late check-outs are charged for a fee of $20/hour until 3PM. After 3PM, 100% of the room rate will be charged.
- Luggage Storage: We are happy to store guests’ luggage before or after their reservation.
The parking lot is private – one parking space per room is provided free of charge.
